First off, I wanted to tell you guys the exciting news that my blog has been listed on the awesome fashion website, Blog And The City! It's a great platform focusing on the most influential fashion bloggers and the cities they live in, mainly the biggest metropoli around the world. The best thing about it? You could also form a part of it and integrate, or simply write columns. I am working myself on one at the moment. Make sure to check out the website.  

Sorry for not having updated the blog in what seems ages, but I do have a valid excuse this once. Some of you might have heard on the news that the weather and storms were so bad here where I live that everything was flooded to the bone, excepting the area where we live, luckily, of course. 

The weather simply didn't allow us to make pictures or even drive anywhere, so it was hard. This is an exception, though, since things like this do not happen very often. This was the worst flood in over 100 years according to scientists and many people sadly lost their homes and all of their belongings.

So my outfit today is comprised of denim dungarees teamed with a checked jumper I fell in love with from Choies. I've had these dungarees for quite a while now and I have been living in them all spring long, but this is the first time I show you an outfit with it. Like most of my outfits, this was my spontaneous way to combine it and what seemed instinctive to me. I hope you like it!

Primero que nada quería contaros que mi blog ha sido enlistado en la fascinante página de moda Blog and The City. Es una plataforma excepcional que se enfoca en las bloggers más influyentes y en las ciudades donde viven, principalmente las metropolis más grandes del mundo. Lo mejor? También podéis ser parte de ella e integraros o simplemente escribir columnas. Yo estoy trabajando en una, por cierto. Podéis chequear la página aquí y aplicar para integraros.

Siento mucho no haber actualizado el blog en lo que parece haber sido siglos, pero es que esta vez tengo una buena excusa. Como algunas de vosotras habéis leído en las noticias, aquí hubo mucha lluvia y se inundó casi todo! Por suerte el área donde resido no fue afectada, pero el resto de la ciudad sí y por eso fue muy difícil hacer fotos o siquiera conducir a cualquier lado, o salir de casa. Pero esta es  una excepción y como podéis imaginaros, esto no sucede muy a menudo. De hecho los científicos dicen que ésta es la peor inundación aquí desde hace más de cien anios. Tristemente, muchísimas personas perdieron sus hogares y todo.

Hoy os muestro un outfit con un peto de denim combinado con un jersey a cuadros de Choies, el cual fue amor a primera vista. Tengo ya algún tiempo de haber comprado este mono y me he estado prácticamente viviendo en él, pero hasta hoy puedo mostrarlo en mi blog. Como la mayoría de mis outfits, espontáneos, ésta fue mi forma de combinarlo y como me lo imaginé instinctivamente. Espero os guste!

Erstens wollte ich euch davon erzählen, dass meinen Blog auf der Fashion-Webseite "Blog And The City" gefeatured wurde! Ich bin sehr begeistert, da diese Seite eine tolle Platform ist, die auf die einflussreichten Bloggerinnen und die Großstädte, in denen sie wohnen,  fokusiert ist. Das beste daran: ihr könnt auch dabei sein, oder einfach Artikel schreiben. Ich schreibe selbst auch einen Artikel für die Seite. 

Es tut mir Leid, dass ich so lang gebraucht habe, den Blog zu aktualisieren, aber dieses Mal habe ich eine gute Ausrede. Wie viele von euch sicher schon wissen, gab es hier endlose Regenfälle und alles wurde überflutet, außer genau der Bereich, wo wir wohnen. Wir haben echt Glück gehabt! Aber trotzdem war es schwierig Bilder zu machen oder überhaupt irgendwohin zu fahren. Das ist die schlimmste Überflutung in über 100 Jahren und viele Leute haben ihre Häuser und alles verloren.

Heute besteht mein Outfit aus Denim-Overalls, die ich mit einem karierten Strickpulli von Choies kombiniert habe. Die Overalls hatte ich schon seit einiger Zeit, aber ich konnte sie euch erst jetzt zeigen. Ich hoffe, mein Outfit gefällt euch!

Outfit | Two-toned

And it's the infamous Zara skort! Wearing it once again, this time in black. I know you've seen it to the point of saturation about everywhere, but it's not about how often one sees a piece in  a million people, it's about how one styles it and I think I have my very own particular way to sport it.

Like I have mentioned before, I think the skort should be styled in a simple, basic, minimal way as the cut is very clean and the lines clear. No complicated pieces, a bichromatic ensemble with a twist(in this case, a hat) works.

Sí, llevo la famosa papirofalda de Zara! Esta vez en negro. Sé que la habéis visto en todos lados y que posiblemente ya estáis hartas de ella, pero pienso que no se trata de cuántas veces uno ve una pieza repetida en mil personas, pero es cómo uno la combina y pienso que yo tengo mi forma particular de combinarla.

Como he mencionado anteriormente, pienso que la falda debe ser combinada de una forma muy simple, básica y minimal, ya que el corte es limpio y las lineas claras. Ninguna pieza complicada, un conjunto bicromático con un toque especial (en este caso el sombrero) funciona.

Cuál es vuestra forma particular de combinar la falda? Cómo la llevas? Os deseo un feliz día!

Es ist schon wieder der Zara Rock! Aber dieses Mal trage ich ihn in Schwarz. Ich bin mir schon bewusst, dass ihr diesen Rock überall gesehen habt, aber ich glaube, es geht nicht darum, wie oft man ein Teil an jemandem sieht, aber es geht darum, wie die Person dieses Teil kombiniert, und ich glaube ich trage es auf meine eigene Art.

Wie ich bereits erwähnt habe, glaube ich, der Rock sollte auf eine einfache und minimalistische Art kombiniert werden, da der Schnitt sehr sauber ist. Keine komplizierten Stücke sollten den Rock  begleiten, einfach nur ein zweifarbiges Ensemble mit dem gewissen Etwas(In diesem Fall ist das ein Hut).

 Wie würdet ihr den Rock kombinieren? Ich wünsche euch allen einen tollen Tag. :)

Outfit | Spring White

One day wearing full prints and the next wearing total white. I am a bit of a maniac when it comes to dressing, right? haha

But to tell you the truth I am a big fan of total white looks and have been waiting for the right weather to wear these light pieces and to give you some midriff action, in view cropped tops are one of the highlights this season. I thought, that if I do total white, I would do it right, with the right dose of elegance and a good pop of colour. And what better pop of colour is there than  in mirrorred sunnies and a graphic printed clutch?

Un día estoy vestida de pies a cabeza con estampados y al día siguiente me véis vestida toda de blanco. Soy algo maniática a la hora de vestirme, cierto? jajajaja

Pero para ser sincera, soy una gran fanática de looks completamente blancos y he estado esperando las temperaturas adecuadads para ponerme estas piezas livianas y mostrar el abdomen, ya que está tan de moda (y me gusta). Pensé que si me visto toda de blanco, tengo que hacerlo de la forma adecuada, con la dosis apropiada de elegancia y un buen toque de color. Y qué mejor toque de color que gafas reflectivas y un clutch con estampado gráfico?

Einen Tag trage ich Kopf-bis-Fuß Prints und den anderen total weiß. Wenn es ums bekleiden geht, bin ich ein bisschen verrückt, oder? hahahaha

Aber, wenn ich ehrlich bin, bin ich ein totaler Fan von komplett weißen Looks. Ich habe auf die richtigen Temperaturen gewartet, um diese leichten Stücke zu tragen und außerdem den Bauch frei zu lassen. Ich hab mir gedacht, wenn ich von Kopf bis Fuß weiß trage, muss ich das auf die richtige Art machen: Mit der richtigen Menge Eleganz und mit einem Hauch Farbe. Und was ist besser als eine reflektierende Sonnenbrille und einem Clutch mit graphischen Prints um einen Hauch Farbe hinzufügen?

Ich hoffe, der Look gefällt euch und dass ihr soweit eine tolle und produktive Woche habt.

Outfit | À la Dries Van Noten

Here an outfit different than the usual monochromatic look that you are used to seeing on my blog. Yes! I am wearing colours and prints, even a clash of them, but I wanted to vary a bit and try something different this time.

Let me be clear, my love for leather and black and white ensembles continues, so this is an exception, mainly because the Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Dries Van Noten deserves everyone's attention and a little homage to it.

Of course, Zara had to offer so many things to be able to put the look together. I would have never bought floral trousers, but these silk kimono ones are just so comfty and I was sold by the cropped fit. And the shirt? This was love at first sight. I have never been a fan of plaid (except for a short time during the 90's), but this shirt, the cut is so special, that I just had to get it.

Hoy os muestro un outfit muy diferente a los looks monocromáticos a los que os tengo acostumbradas. Sí, llevo color y estampados, incluso una mezcla de ellos! Quise hacer algo diferente, pero es una excepción hoy, porque como sabéis mi corazón le pertenece al cuero y a los outfits en blanco y negro. La excepción es debido a que la colección primavera verano 2013 de Dries Van Noten merece vuestra atención y un pequeno homenaje.
Por supuesto que Zara tenía todo lo que necesitaba para hacer este look posible. Eso sí, jamás hubiese pensado que me compraría algo con estampado floral, pero este pantalón floral de seda me enamoró! Y la blusa? Ni se diga. Creo que no me gusta las camisas a cuadros desde la década noventera, pero es que esta blusa tiene un corte muy especial que simplemente tenía que comprármela! Un beso a todas x

Heute zeige ich euch ein Outfit, das anders als meine üblichen monochromatischen Looks ist. Ja! Ich trage Farben und Prints, sogar verschiedene zusammen. Ich wollte dieses Mal einfach etwas anders machen, aber ihr solltet wissen, dass meine Liebe für Leder und Outfits in Schwarz und Weiß weitergeht. Also, das ist eine Ausnahme, nur weil die Frühling/Sommer 2013 Kollektion von Dries Van Noten eure Aufmerksamkeit braucht.

Natürlich hatte Zara alles Notwendige um dieses Outfit zusammen zu stellen. Jedoch hätte ich nie gedacht, dass ich jemals eine  Hose mit Blumen-Print tragen würde, aber diese Kimono-Hose aus Seide hat mich total bezaubert. Und wie cool ist dieses Karo-Hemd? Der Schnitt ist einfach perfekt.

Outfit | The New Icons

I have been looking for the perfect (non-designer) leather biker jacket since I can remember and have never found it, until this one from the H&M New Icons collection came along. They tend to never be perfect and I am looking for a certain kind of perfect, like anyone does. What I want? Being specific, I want it quilted, a bit stiff with quality leather, with the reverse really sticking out and with one stud at the end of each side. Sometimes I find jackets quilted, but not stiff nor with quality leather nor with the reverse and studs, other times I find it with the reverse and studs but not quilted, and so on, but this time I got the perfect one! Weird, because I am not a fan of H&M, since the quality is very bad in general, excepting for special collections like this one, of course, and H&M Trend. I also never jump in the bandwagon with every new special collection of the brand, since I am never attracted, and the thought of buying something just because it's "in" is not really my cup of tea, but this collection was clearly an exception.

 Of course, if we talk designer leather jackets, I wouldn't mind this one from Blk Dnm, which is the most perfect one I have ever seen, even better than the Acne Mape leather jacket. 

And don't even get me started with wide brim fedoras! As some of you may already know, I am a big fan of Hedi Slimane's Spring Summer collection for Saint Laurent Paris, so the minute I saw this hat I knew I had to have it.

Now, let's talk about these shoes!!! They are the buy I was telling you about, I know I have been bad, but I just couldn't help buying them. The shape, cut, everything screams timeless and sleek, like all things Wang. Seriously, Alexander Wang is my favourite designer of all, I am simply obsessed with everything he makes and I cannot think of one pair of shoes of his current and last collections I would love to have in my closet.

Mi búsqueda tras la cazadora perfecto perfecta ha finalmente terminado desde que ví ésta de la última colección de H&M. La he buscado por anos y nunca tienden ser perfectas. Estaba buscando algo específico. A qué me refiero? La quiero acolchada en los brazos, un poco rígida y de buena calidad, y con el reverso prominente con una tachuela al final de cada extremo.

Algunas veces encuentro las cazadoras acolchadas, pero no rígidas ni de buena calidad ni mucho menos con las tachuelas, otras veces las encuentro con el reverso prominente y de buena calidad, pero no acolchada, y así sucesivamente. Pero esta vez he encontrado la chaqueta que más se acerca a la perfección y es curioso porque nunca he sido fanática de H&M, ya que la mayoría de sus prendas son de pésima calidad, exceptuando la calidad de colecciones como ésta y de H&M Trend. Tampoco me atrae la idea de comprar algo de colecciones especiales de H&M sólo porque estén de moda, pero claramente aquí hice una excepción.

Claro, si hablamos de cazadoras perfecto de disenador, me quedo con esta de Blk Dnm que es la más perfecta que he visto, aun más que la Mape de Acne.

Y el sombrero! Como ya algunas de vosotras sabéis, soy fanática de la colección primavera verano de Hedi Slimane para Saint Laurent Paris, así que tuve que comprarme este sombrero con ala ancha el segundo que lo ví!

Ahora, hablemos de los zapatos! Son la compra de la que os hablé recientemente, Simplemente no pude evitar comprármelos ya que la forma y el diseno son atemporales como todo lo que disena Alexander Wang. Es mi disenador favorito! Simplemente estoy obsesionada con todo lo que disena y no puedo pensar en un par de zapatos que haya disenado que no quisiera tener en mi armario! Es genial! Os deseo una feliz semana!

Ich bin seit langem ohne Erfolg auf der Suche nach der perfekten Biker-Lederjacke, bis ich diese von der H&M New Icons Kollektion gesehen habe. Die Jacken sind niemals perfekt und ich suche nach der perfekten nach meinem Geschmack, wie jeder. Was will ich? Ich will spezifisch sein: Ich will, dass die Jacke gesteppt auf den Ärmeln ist, dass sie ein bisschen Steif und aus guter Qualität ist, dass das Revers heraussticht und dass es eine Niete am Ende des Revers hat. 

Ab und zu finde ich Jacken die gesteppt sind, aber weder herausstechende Revers haben noch aus guter Qualität sind. Und manchmal finde ich Jacken, die herausstechende Revers haben, aber sie haben keine Nieten und sie sind auch nicht gesteppt, und so weiter. Aber dieses Mal habe ich die perfekte gefunden!

Es ist seltsam, da ich kein H&M Fan bin, da die Qualität sehr schlecht ist (außer natürlich besondere Kollektionen wie diese und H&M Trend). Mir gefallen auch nicht oft die besonderen Kollektionen dieser Marke und ich bin auch kein Fan von der Idee, Stücke von dieser Kollektionen zu kaufen, nur weil sie "in" sind, aber diese Stücke waren ein Ausnahme.

Natürlich, wenn wir von Designer-Bikerjacken sprechen, würde ich  sehr gerne eine ähnliche von Blk Dnm  haben, da sie die perfekteste Jacke ist, die ich jemals gesehen habe. Sogar perfekter als die Acne Mappe Lederjacke.

Und der Hut! Manche von euch wissen schon, dass ich ein großer Fan Hedi Slimanes Kollektion für Saint Laurent Paris bin, deswegen musste ich mir sofort diesen Fedora-Hut mit breiter Krempe kaufen.

Jetzt: Die Schuhe! Ich habe euch schon davon erzählt, dass ich mir etwas Besonderes gekauft habe und hier sind sie! Die Schuhe von Alexander Wang, welche eine zeitlose Form und Design haben, wie alles von Wang.

Wang ist echt mein Lieblings-Designer. Ich bin einfach von allem besessen, was er entwirft und ich hätte am liebsten  alle Schuhe, die er entworfen hat!

Outfit | Contrast

Yes, it's not your screen! You are seeing right, I am bare-legged, since the weather allowed it a couple of days ago (now not so much). 

And due to the bad weather and the longest winter Europe ever saw, I have been postponing an outfit to show you these bad boys for a long time. I've had them stored in my closet for nearly two months and until now they saw the only chance of coming out. 

This is my very own interpretation of wearing THE famous Zara skort, sporty, as you can see and making some serious black-and-white contrast. The piece has a minimal and clean cut, so it should be styled in a minimal and clean way, plus the contrast with black highlights even more the whiteness and purity of the skirt.

I think it is a mistake to combine the skort with more complicated pieces, as this can completely break the minimal vibe of the skirt, which should be highlighted instead. Hope you like it and wish you all an awesome weekend. x

Sí, habéis visto correctamente! No es vuestra pantalla, estoy con las piernas al aire ya que el clima lo ha permitido finalmente.
Y debido al mal clima y al invierno más largo jamás visto en Europa he estado posponiendo este outfit para mostraros esta falda de Zara por mucho tiempo. La he tenido esperando en mi armario por dos meses y hasta el día de hoy ha tenido la oportunidad de ver el sol.
Esta es mi forma de combinar la famosa falda origami de Zara, de una forma deportiva como podéis ver y con un fuerte contraste de blanco y negro. Esta pieza consiste de un corte muy minimalista y limpio, y así debería también ser combinada. El contraste con negro acentúa mucho más la blancura y pureza del color y la forma de la falda.
Pienso que es un error combinar la falda con piezas muy complicadas, ya que ésto puede romper con su estilo minimalista, que más bien debería ser acentuado. Espero os guste y os deseo un feliz fin de semana!

Ja, es ist nicht euer Bildschirm! Ihr habt  richtig gesehen, ich bin mit nackten Beinen, da das Wetter es schon erlaubt hat.

Auf Grund des schlechten Wetters und des längsten Winters, den Europa je gesehen hat,  habe ich ein Outfit mit diesem Skort von Zara verschieben. Ich habe es schon für etwa 2 Monate gehabt, aber bis heute hatte ich keine Chance es zu tragen.

Das folgende Outfit ist meine eigene Art dieses Skort zu tragen, welches sportlich ist und einen  sehr starken Schwarz-Weiß Kontrast hat, wie ihr sehen könnt. Das Stück ist minimalistisch und hat einen sauberen Schnitt und deshalb sollte es auch in einer minimalistischen und sauberen Form kombiniert werden.  Außerdem betont der Kontrast mit Schwarz das reine Weiß vom Rock. Ich finde es einen Fehler, wenn man den Rock mit komplizierten Stücken kombiniert, da dies zu den minimalen Stil des Rocks nicht passt. Ich  hoffe euch gefällt das Outfit und dass ihr ein tolles Wochenende habt.

Outfit | Leather Dungarees

I know I said that I'd try to stay as far away as possible from Zara this year, but in view their current collection is, in my honest opinion, their best one so far, it has been just too hard for me to do so.

I have been obsessed for months over leather dungarees ever since I  first saw the 3.1 Phillip Lim resort ones. I just couldn't take them out of my head. And then came the ASOS ones that I completely missed. I refreshed that site in the hope that someone with size xs returned theirs for months with no luck! And there were no nice leather dungarees anywhere else until Zara came along.

Ever craved so badly a piece, but really so badly, that the tag price tag doesn't matter anymore since you have looked literally everywhere for them? Well, this price tag was quite a tad too much, but it is something I don't regret since I have been literally living in these dungarees since I bought them and I intend to do so as long as I can, so I can justify the purchase. 

I originally went to Munich to shop some other things and didn't have in mind at all to buy these, but once I tried it on, I just couldn't hesitate in getting them. Without a doubt, they are the key piece this season. x

Sé que he dicho que me quiero mantener lo más alejada posible de Zara, pero en vista que, su actual colección es una de sus mejores colecciones, me ha sido imposible hacerlo. 

He estado obsesionada con overalls de cuero desde hace algun tiempo que ví los de 3.1 Phillip Lim para su colección de primavera. Simplemente no me los podía quitar de la cabeza. Después vinieron los de ASOS que me perdí completamente. Actualizaba la página diariamente por meses para ver si, en algún momento de suerte, alguien de casualidad devolvía unos en talla xs, pero nunca tuve suerte. Y nunca encontré overalls que me gustaron hasta que Zara hizo éstos.

Alguna vez habéis querido algo tanto, que el precio ya no importa más ya que habéis buscado dicha cosa en todos lados sin suerte de encontrarlo? Pues esta etiqueta de precio fue un poco demasiado, pero es algo de lo que no creo arrepentirme ya que tengo planeado ponermelos tan seguido hasta que justifique la compra.
Viajé a Munich originalmente para comprarme otras cosas y no tenía en mente comprarme estos overalls, pero una vez que me los probé, no pude evitar comprarmelos. Sin duda, es una de las piezas clave esta temporada.

Ich hab schon gesagt, dass ich  Zara fern bleiben wollte, aber angesichts dessen, dass die neue Kollektion nach meiner Meinung eine der besten Kollektionen von Zara überhaupt ist, war das einfach unmöglich zu schaffen.
Seit einiger Zeit bin ich von Leder-Overalls besessen, nämlich seitdem ich die von 3.1 Phillip Lim von dieser Saison gesehen habe. Ich konnte sie einfach nicht aus meinem Kopf bekommen. Danach gab es bei ASOS eine tolle Version, aber ich hab sie total verpasst! Ich habe die Seite für Monate aktualisiert und gehofft, dass jemand die Overalls in der Größe XS zurückgibt, aber leider habe ich dabei kein Glück gehabt. Ich hatte keine Chance gehabt, bis diese Overalls von Zara kamen.
Habt ihr jemals etwas so so sehr gewollt, dass das Preisetikett nicht mehr wichtig ist, da ihr überall ohne Erfolg danach gesucht habt? Also dieses Preisetikett war ein bisschen zu viel, aber ich glaube nicht, dass ich diesen Kauf bereuen werde, da ich diese Overalls so oft wie möglich tragen werde, um den Preis zu rechtfertigen. Ohne zweifel sind Leder-Overalls der Trend der Saison.
